Surrender to The Void was Whiplash's first ever DIPA and really set them down the path of making silly hoppy beers back in 2016. It was always about heavy handed hop usage and they’ve been challenging themselves ever since to push things further and further than they did on this first outing.
Surrender focuses on that touch of Columbus in the kettle and a double dry hop of Citra & Mosaic living together there in perfect harmony.
“Wow, a Citra and Mosaic DIPA you say” … but if you’re disappointed by the un-originality of this you’ll be really annoyed when you taste this hazy rubbish. It’s all peach, lychee, pineapples and awful tropical juice. Garbage.
