An easy-drinking, fruity Irish red ale with a hop bite.
Copper Coast Red Ale is a smooth, fruity Irish red ale with a distinct caramel character. Its unique taste is achieved by exploiting crystal malt in the brewing process. It also has a special hop balance, which offsets the sweetness of the caramel flavours.
In the glass, this ale presents as a cloudy copper colour with a persistent frothy white head. Fruity malty aromas are noticeable. On the palette, caramel, figs, biscuit and red fruits present themselves with an herbal hop finish.
As with all Dungarvan's beers, the bottles will contain a yeast sediment which is a by-product of the bottle conditioning process. This sediment is completely harmless and fine to drink, but if you prefer a clearer beer then leave the last drop in the bottle.
