Beer Tasting with De Halve Maan
Wednesday, 17th May 7.30pm
Join us in the courtyard at Cavern on Baggot St for a special beer tasting with Brouwerij De Halve Maan, the only remaining family brewery situated in the centre of historic Bruges in Belgium. Steve from De Halve Maan will guide us through their range of superb beers and will speak about the brewery’s storied heritage.
For more than five centuries, there has been almost continuous brewing activity on the site of De Halve Maan. Belgian for ‘the half-moon’, De Halve Maan is committed to producing authentic and innovative beers of the highest quality. This is the first time the brewery has come to Ireland to share their story (and beer!), and it promises to be a truly memorable evening.
Ticket includes a tasting of five beers and an accompaniment of meat and cheeses from Irish suppliers.
